MOSCOW, Russia, February 16, 2017: Prior to the ‘Wings of Business’ awarding ceremony SCAN-Interfax, event’s media partner, reviewed publications in the Russian media for news coverage on business aviation.
According to SCAN, over the past five years the number of references upon the request “business aviation” has increased almost fourfold from 1196 publications in 2011 to 4213 publications in 2016. The findings confirm that the Russian business aviation market is growing rapidly becoming attractive for business and investments.
SCAN also determined that in 2016 the most mentioned in the Russian media jet manufacturers were Bombardier, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, Embraer and Cessna; the most media references got such types of aircraft as Sukhoi Business Jet, Dassault Falcon 7X and Gulfstream G650.
A special media monitoring was made for the ‘Wings of Business’ Award nominees. The analysis was conducted using SCAN-Interfax system, which contains over 23,000 media sources, and took into account only the companies that applied for the 2016 “Wings of Business” Award. The number of media references was conducted for each of the 13 Award’s categories separately. Over 60 companies from nine countries claim for Russia’s prestigious business aviation award this year.
The list of the most mentioned in the Russian media candidates for the Awards will be announced within the Awarding ceremony that will take place in Moscow on February 17, 2017.
